Historic Homes

Dated boilers and radiator systems do not always need a full replacement. We retrofit for comfort and efficiency while keeping what still earns its keep.

Older houses often carry hydronic systems that have outlived their original boilers but still move heat well through radiators and piping. We start by assessing the whole loop — not just the appliance in the basement.

When a careful upgrade can ride on existing radiators, mains, and returns, that is the path we take. When sections need redesign, we draw it to fit the house: rooms, zoning, and how the building actually lives day to day.

This page is a stub. Full project examples and a clearer scope of typical home work will land here as the site develops.

Where we focus

  • Boiler replacement and right-sizing on existing distribution
  • Radiator systems that still heat — preserved and rebalanced
  • Zoning, controls, and quiet comfort upgrades
  • Economical paths that avoid unnecessary demolition
